Other World Heritage Sites in India
Mahabodhi Temple
This newly added heritage site is one of the holy sites which are directly
related to the life of Lord Budha. This temple is dated back to 5th or 6th
century. In the 3rd century B.C emperor Asoka built the first temple.
Kaziranga National Park
This national park is the only place where you can find such a big populace
of mammoth one horned rhino. Besides endangered one horned rhinos you will
find barasingha, wild boar, hoolock gibbons, buffaloes and a few other
reptile species there.

Manas Wildlife Sanctuary
This one of its kind wildlife reserve in north-east is placed in Assam.
Sprawling over 360 sq. km Manas Tiger Reserve becomes Manas Wildlife
Sanctuary on September 7, 1990.

Sunderbans National Park
Sunderbans National Park houses numerous rare and beautiful animals and
birds. You will find here over 400 most talked about Royal Bengal Tigers and
other animals including the rhesus monkey and chital deer.
