Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata

Arrive Kolkata. Meet and assistance at International airport at Kolkata.
Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 02 : Kolkata - Bhubaneswar
Morning city tour of Kolkata visiting Victoria Memorial, St. Paul Cathedral
Indian Museum and Maiden and Fort William. Afterthat take a flight to
Bhubaneswar, the temple city of India. Once the capital of ancient Kalinga,
the city has a long history & is today a bustling centre for commerce &
religious activity. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in
Bhubaneswar.
Day 03 : Bhubaneswar
Full day temple visits in Bhubaneswar visiting Parashurameshwara Temple,
Mukteshwar, Raja Rani & Ligaraja Temples. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 04 : Bhubaneswar
Sightseeing in Bhubaneswar visiting Kandagiri, Udaigiri Caves and Nadan
Kannan Zoological and botanical gardens. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 05 : Bhubaneswar - Dhauli - Pipli Village - Konark - Puri (56 Kms -
02 hr)
Drive to Puri (56 kms and 02 hrs drive), en-route visit Dhauli & Pipli
village & Konark (Sun Temple). First stop at Dhauli, where Mauryan
Emperor Ashoka the Great renounced bloody warfare & embraced the
teachings of Buddha after victory over kingdom of Kalinga. Here we visit
Peace Pagoda known as Shanti Stupa built in early 1970 by Japanese. Next
visit the Colorful Pipli village, where Orissan Handicrafts, the specialty
is applique work.
Later drive to Puri en route visit Konark temple Chariot of the Sun God,
built by King Langula Narasimha Deva in the 13 century AD in the Golden era
of Orissan art. This crowning piece of Orissan architecture & sculpture
is sheer poetry on stone. Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 06 : Puri

Full day city tour of Puri visiting the famous Jagannath Temple, dedicated
to Krishna (Vishnu) in his deity form of Jagannath, meaning Lord of the
Universe (Jag translates to Universe, nath means Lord). Later explore the
Puri beach, one of India's finest beaches. Puri Beach attracts millions of
travelers to India with its strategic setting & religious importance.
Overnight stay at Puri.
Day 07 : Puri - Gopalpur via Chilka Lake (200 km- 05 hr)
Proceed to Gopalpur en-route visit Chilka Lake, famous for its bird
sanctuary. It is Asia's largest inland salt-water lagoon. Later drive to
Gopalpur on Sea, ancient sea port not often visited by tourists. Sand dunes,
groves of coconut palm & casuarinas separate the small town from the
beach. Overnight stay at Gopalpur
Day 08 : Gopalpur
Day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.
Day 09 : Gopalpur - Bhubaneswar - Kolkata
Morning leave for Bhubaneswar (200 kms and 05 hrs drive) to board the
flight to Kolkata to take a flight home back.
