The alluring journey begins from the joyful city - Kolkata and connects Bagdogra via flight. The glimpses of Eastern Himalayas can be enjoyed on a roadside ride towards the hilly tea gardens of Darjeeling. The charm of Darjeeling can be soaked up through the breathtaking views of Mt.Everest and Kanchanjunga from the highest point of Tiger Hills. One can even sense tranquility amidst such virgin sites through visiting Ghoom Monastery and exploring tea gardens. Futher drive takes to the isolated territories of Gangtok in Sikkim, known more for Rumtek, Do Drul Chorten and Enchey Monastery.
The excursion then graduates at a ridge between Deolo and Durpin Hills known as Kalimpong offering great views of gardens and colourful gardens. Indeed, East Himalayan Flavour are worth relishing, experiencing and remembering.
Day 01 : Arrive Kolkata

on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 02 : Kolkata - Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Bagdogra. Met on arrival and
transfer to Darjeeling ( 90 kms - 03 hrs drive ). Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 03 : In Darjeeling :
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill the highest point in Darjeeling. The
views from this point, especially of Mt.Everest and Kanchanjunga are simply
breathtaking. On way back stop at the Ghoom Monastery. Afterthat proceed for
a sightseeing tour of the town visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering
institute and the Tibetan Refugee Self help centre. Also visit the tea
plantations. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 04 : Darjeeling - Gangtok
Drive to Gangtok covering a distance of 115 kms ( 04 hrs ). Overnight in
Gangtok.
Day 05 : In Gangtok
Sightseeing of Gangtok (the capital of of Sikkim) covering Rumtek
Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of
Handicraft & Handloom & Enchey Monastery. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 06 : Gangtok - Kalimpong
Morning
leave Gangtok for Kalimpong (85 kms / 03 hrs). On arrival Kalimpong, day at
leisure. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 07 : In Kalimpong :
Explore the small hill station, visiting Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s
Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills.
Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 08 : Kalimpong - Bagdogra - Calcutta
Transfer to Bagdogra airport ( 80 kms / 03 hrs ) to connect flight for
Calcutta. Met on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 09 : Depart Calcutta
Morning sightseeing tour of Calcutta. Later transfer to airport to connect
flight for onward destination.
